DESCRIPTION:Masters in May is a spin -off from the Gaston Regional Chamber's former Annual Golf Classic. This annual event has been held in Gaston County for the past 10 years. The event has been re-branded for 2017 and will include various fun and interactive events. This will not be your average golf outing.  The tournament will be held on Monday May 8\, 2017 at Gaston Country Club. Gaston Country Club boasts a finely manicured Ellis Maples designed 18-hole golf course originally opened for play in 1958.  One can play championship style golf from the back tees all the way up to our junior tees appropriately placed in the fairway areas. The golf course underwent a restoration in 2003-2004 by architect Kris Spence and is ranked 48th in North Carolina's Top 100 Golf Courses.This event will provide a full day of fun on  and off the course!
