With her prior experience in the realm of all-star cheer & tumbling while coaching at the same time\, she developed an idea to create a brand that would allow youth from all areas to participate in competitions that catered to their talents and showcased the art of dance & step. Her vision was inspired by her mentor and aunt\, the late Reasa Davidson\, founder of The Gashouse Steppers\, whom she was given the knowledge and tools of the ins and outs of stepping\, coaching and running step shows. In December of 2013\, the idea was birthed and after 3 failed attempts in the following 2 years\, the 1st Annual "Step It Up" Step Off was presented on February 7\, 2015 at Piedmont Community Charter School in Gastonia\, NC. Myeshia's goal is to inspire youth to utilize their gifts and provide a positive outlet that allows them to showcase their hard work and talents. We are excited in the growth of our brand and we cannot wait to host more shows in the future for your organization to participate. Annual Show Overview: Every annual show\, we choose to honor a family in need or a loved one who has made a positive impact in the communities of Gaston County & surrounding areas. As we approach our 5th step show as a productions\, we have decided that our 3rd Annual show will be in celebration of honoring one individual in our community who is battling cancer. In honor of him\, a portion of the proceeds raised will go towards his needs. Overall Grand Champions will be awarded with Trophy Cup with Cash Prize. Teams who place 2nd Runner Up\, 3rd Place Winner\, & 4th Place Winner will receive trophy awards.
