DESCRIPTION:Junior Achievement seeks to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Through the use of interactive\, volunteer-taught programs\, Junior Achievement teaches students the concepts of financial literacy\, entrepreneurship\, and work readiness.\n\n\n\nJunior Achievement and Lingerfeldt Elementary have partnered to provide the JA program to students in K-5 grades through a JA in a Day event. In this single day format\, volunteers will teach through the entire program (5 lessons) during the school day.\n\n\n\nWhen: Friday\, December 7\, 2018\n\n\n\nWhere: Lingerfeldt Elementary School (1601 Madison St\, Gastonia NC\, 28052)\n\n\n\nTime: 8:00am-2:00pm\n\n\n\nJunior Achievement will provide training for new volunteers as well as all program materials.
