🎄 Get Ready for the 79th Annual Gastonia Christmas Parade! 🎅

Sunday, December 6th, 2026 @ 5pm (Setup at 3:00pm)
We're thrilled to announce that the beloved Gastonia Christmas Parade will return for the 79th year on Sunday, December 6th! It will be here before we know it, and we want you to be part of the magic! Whether you've participated in the past or are brand new, we can't wait to see your smiling faces and festive floats lighting up Main Avenue!

The Gaston County Jaycees will hold a Logistics meeting on Monday, November 31st @ 6:30pm. This will be hybrid - you may attend virtually or in person at the PD Community room. This meeting will cover logistics regarding line up, arrival time, parade route, etc. Parade participants are expected to attend. 
✨ Registration: September 15th – November 30
🚫 No registrations will be accepted after November 30 – don’t miss out!

🎉 Parade Day Info:
The parade begins at 5:00 PM. All entries should arrive and line up between 3:00 PM and 4:45 PM at a street designated for your group. The route will travel east along Main Avenue, starting at Chester Street and ending at Broad Street. NO LINE UP ENTRY before 3pm. Early Arrivals will be redirected until 3pm. 

🌟 Stick Around for the Fun!
After the parade, head over to the Rotary Pavilion for Christmas in the City, presented by the City of Gastonia and Keep Gastonia Beautiful! Enjoy a magical evening with local vendors, festive entertainment, and the always-beautiful tree lighting ceremony immediately following the parade.
