Job Fair at Eastridge Mall

Description

Eastridge Mall will be hosting a job fair on October 17th. There is no fee in participating in the job fair. We only ask for you to bring your own table and chairs to set up for the event. Eastridge Mall has a limited supply of tables and chairs and will be given on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like to register for your business to participate in the Eastridge Mall Job Fair, please contact Ryan Hale at the Eastridge Mall Management Office.

Come prepared - Devise a plan for the day. Bring copies of your resume and know the types of jobs you are interested in. 

Dress appropriately - Dress like you would for an interview. What you wear is important so keep it professional. 

Remember that this is a networking opportunity - As a job seeker, you should collect as many business cards as possible and make a good first impression. 

Be enthusiastic - Demonstrate your interest with a firm handshake, good eye contact, a smile, and a good conversation with the company representative. 

Apply online after you meet with a company rep - Even though an employer may take your paper resume at a job fair, that doesn’t necessarily make you a candidate. Complete the process by applying online. 

Follow up by email - Be prepared to follow up with the recruiters soon after you meet them. Ask for a business card, and send thank you emails.
