The Dynamics of Group Decision Making, a four-hour course at Gaston College, provides insights into the complexities of building consensus and arriving at positive outcomes. During the course, a truly dynamic platform is created as participants watch clips from the classic movie "12 Angry Men," in which 12 jurors must reach a difficult decision. Issues attendees are facing can be added seamlessly into the course objectives as the participants openly discuss behaviors. Dynamics that may be discussed include Defining the Team, Approaching a Decision, A Meeting of the Minds vs. Collective Stupidity, Leadership Styles, and Understanding Behavior Styles and Difficult Behavior. The class is led by regional trainer Jeff Groves, who has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing, leadership and training. He has worked both nationally and internationally in public and private organizations.Date and Time
