Women Who Rock is an annual event hosted by Gaston County EDC and the Gaston Business Association during Manufacturing Week. We enjoy honoring women that have made a difference in our community/workplaces or highlight women in positions where men typically are chosen for the role. 

Guest Speaker: LauRen Merola
LauRen is an adored radio show host on Kiss 95.1’s The MRL Morning Show and is a trendy mom with a flare for fashion and all things fun! When she’s not hosting the morning radio show, LauRen is a wife and a mother to two little boys and also the chief editor and founder of All Of The F-Words Blog. Her blog covers all of the F-words a lady should know: Fashion, Family, Face, Food, Fun, and now Fiestas! Along the way, LauRen’s gypsy soul has led her to jump out of airplanes with the US Army’s Golden Knights, travel overseas on four USO entertainment tours, dance professionally for both the NBA and the NFL, and was Miss Pennsylvania USA 2008 and Top 5 at Miss USA!  While she may not be southern born and bred, LauRen has adopted the Charlotte area as her new home.
